We are nationally recognized for our expertise in special needs planning and tax matters. We offer consulting services to attorneys and other professionals on public benefit and tax issues related to personal injury settlements including Medicare set aside, first party special needs trusts, Medicare claims, Medicaid liens and qualified settlement funds.

BIOGRAPHY
Maureen H. Cook is an Associate Attorney with The Law Offices of Bradley J. Frigon. Maureen attended Creighton University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and co-majored in History. Maureen began her career as a Business Manager with Kiewit. After a few years, she transitioned to construction management and was assigned to the Denver Union Station Redevelopment Project and Cherokee Power Plant Project. In 2014, Maureen chose to pursue her interest in the law. While a law student, Maureen served as President of two student organizations, presented oral arguments at competitions with the Moot Court Council and Jessup International Law Moot Court teams, and learned from internships focused in civil litigation and government representation. Maureen was admitted to the Order of Barristers national honorary organization for excellence in brief writing and oral advocacy. Maureen began her legal career as a judicial law clerk in Jefferson and Gilpin Counties with the First Judicial District. Her division specialized in probate and civil matters.
